US Presidential Election 2008

The most recent event that almost everybody knows about is the 2008 US Presidential Election.

I am not a supporter of either Obama or McCain. As far as I can see here in Pakistan, people blindly follow Obama or some who like to go against the flow are following McCain. And, many of these people don't even know their policies regarding Pakistan. Obama says that he will use military action against 'terrorists' in Pakistan with or without Pakistan's permission or support. McCain says the same thing. So, now tell me, McCain or Obama? Another candidate, Rev Chuck Baldwin, is anti-Islam. He says, "Only communism rivals Islam in sheer numbers of people persecuted and killed."

People say Obama's policies regarding the economic conditions of the US will be beneficial for Pakistan, that 'a strong America means a strong Pakistan.' What? Really? Obama has on no occasion said this openly while both McCain and Obama have said that they will take action against 'terrorists' residing in Pakistan, though McCain, having fought communism in Vietnam, takes a stronger stance against these so-called 'terrorists'. If Obama is able to better our economic situation, indirectly or directly, will the attack on our sovereignty be an acceptable sacrifice?

I could go on and on and on about this but I am too sleepy so maybe tomorrow, when we know what the outcome of this Election is.
